(31-03-2020, 07:53 AM)Akwo Tom I have an Infinix Hot7 MT6580. I flashed with the right firmware, and the process completed. But right now the device fails to power on.
When I connect to the PC over USB, it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. When I try to flash it again I get "S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM failed, please make the firmware matches the target." And this option keeps repeating whenever I try to flash any other firmware (I've tried all the 3 Infinix Hot7 firmwares)
Please what can I do?

Hello! My Nokia X5 (5.1 plus) phone with MT6771 got brciked after a forced shutdown.
When I try to flash it with the flash tool, it just stucked with a red "da download 100%"bar. The correct driver has been installed on my PC.
Now it seems totally dead. As it has an inbuilt battery, do I need to keep on holding the power button while charging until it comes up?(for Tip 4)  Or there are any better solutions? thx Big Grin

loosen the phone, disconnect/reconnect the phone's battery then plug to charge for few hours before power on.

No, you don't need to keep holding forever. the device might not even come up on the first few tries
you should keep repeating it ie you can try hold power button then connect to a charging source, wait a few seconds > if nothing happens disconnect the charger and release the button then try retry again (you can also try other keys before connecting the charger e.g vol up only, vol up + power button, e.t.c) with any luck after a few tries your device will come on but will still remain soft bricked
when next you want to flash, there should be a DA file included in nokia stock firmware, ensure to use the DA file
if you still have any other problems then create a new thread for your device issue by clicking "ask question" at the top

Thank you very much.

From now on, download all but UBOOT_LOADER and SPL_LOADER.

I bricked my mtk device after trying to flash factory rom and the battery died. I charged it for a couple days now i can see the offline charging animation but no indication if it is charging or not. Should i just continue to charge until it indicates that it is charging?? my device is a blu studio xl2 mt6737 with a built- in battery

was flashing successful before the battery ran down or it ran down during flashing and interrupted?
