With mtk back files prepared for flash tool and so flash tool, you should be able to return to stock, rewriting all the bad partitions in the phone

this step is just to ensure there are no MTK driver clashes. you can safely skip this step in most cases

I was flashing something to my brother's tecno f8 and the process was interrupted. The phone did not come on anymore. However, when I connect it to the computer I hear the audio that it was recognized. I followed the instructions here and charged the battery with a desktop charger while I kept the empty Phone plugged in too. Few hours later, I put the battery in the phone and plugged it in, and the phone came on. Now, it is charging. I shall continue with my flashing later.

Just in case you happen to have a fix for a problem my brother's f8 has, it says HIGH RISK LOOPHOLE DETECTED. Some inappropriate apps gets downloaded of their own accord and the phone is more or less useless because different ads keeps popping up. I wanted to format the phone and reflash the stock rom if that will work. That was how all of this started. In case it didn't work, you got a fix?

* format and reflashing ought to fix that
* where do you get that "high risk loophole detected" ?

I don't know how my brother's f8 got the problem but I googled it and became aware that "HIGH RISK LOOPHOLE DETECTED" means your Android has been hacked. Well, formatting the phone and reflashing the stock rom worked for my brother's f8. Back to normal now, no longer says high risk loophole detected and unwanted apps no longer pop up and install themselves.
