(16-12-2014, 03:13 PM)hovatek 1. follow this guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-455.html
2. zip the !files to flash folder
3. upload it to dropbox
4. send us the download link
5. We'll download and Mod certain files then send you others to add to what you have

Ok, I have gotten another D7 and have tried MKT backup but instead of having a yellow box below at the MKT tool, I have blue.
And when try to press the ROOT button, I have error, that SU is in accessible.
Please do you know what next to be done?

you'll need to root the don't first before using MTK droid tools. see framaroot @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-1.html

Yes I have I used the first one, "How to root Tecno Q1, H5, N7, D5, M5, P5, S3, S5, P9 (4.2), M7 and M3", it worked on the d7, I will upload the "files to flash" when I get to my base. Thanks

From the preview, everything looks just fine. all core partitions are present and in the correct format (not as folders) so you should be good to go. flash the files using  https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html

Your D7 is a 'first case' . we use this term to refer to phones whose MTK backups we don't have. usually, we would compare our backup to what you have there to determine if it's complete, in the right format and ok to flash .
for first cases, we would request then download the backup and decompile each file. if we don't get any errors here, then we have an unconfirmed standard to compare other backups to. it becomes a confirmed standard when it's successfully used to unbrick a phone.
One might deem this tedious but we're very meticulous in our dev work, besides, our experience with MTK devices has taught us to always secure a soft landing / fall breaker (reliable backups )
