I was able to create and install CWM 5 on Opsson and my dads tecno M5 but thats bcos they ae MTK BASED..Do u know of any similar software and where to find it since ur new CWM 6 Project hasnt begun....

for N3, you'll need to port from an existing Qualcomm device with same resolution or build from source (if you have Ubuntu) .

Hello Hovatek...E kuu se o...How is android dev. tinz goin...Please i just got a hunch on a probable reasom why the CWM Recovery u made for Tecno N3 including th new ones didnt work on My Tecno N3 and that of Suheli ( another forum member)....
1.Which android OS were supposed to use those CWM Recoveries? Cos i use Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and Suheli uses 3.2.1
Could this be a reason?
I just decided its not time for give up yet until i have explored all possible options...
2. Can Linux Ubuntu be used to compile CWM for Android....If yes....where do i find a guide on how to do it....
Thanks, i appreciate ur ever timely responses to our questions!!!!

Was made for 2.3
Yes, it can be compiled using Ubuntu (we'll soon post a guide here)
1. You'll need to setup ubuntu (see https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1004.html)
2. You'll then need to sync Cyanogenmod > 10 sources (see https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1086.html )

we're currently porting Clockworkmod 6 (Carliv Touch Recovery) to some MTK phones @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1093.html. you can create a new project for your CWM 6 for N3 by clicking https://forum.hovatek.com/newthread.php?fid=21 .
