Hope you're using windows 7.
When you connect the phone to PC, does device manager refresh? If it does then what does the phone get detected as?

it is now totally dead. i did the whole process again from disabling signature verification, drivers,and flashing. it responded and completed flashing. but the tablet could not boot past the loading stage so i did false the phone again. now the phone dos not come on at all.

Once it booted, a factory reset in recovery mode would have fixed it.

The fastest fix is to take out the battery even though inbuilt. A slower fix is to keep charging till you get a charging sign
