Iphone Backup Encrypted - HELP PLS

#1

DEAR Hova,

I would like to enquire if you have any fixes for an IPHONE backup on my Macbook which somehow managed to get the encryption option ticked and I can no longer access my backups.

I have tried all known passwords in the last one month with no success.

This is also preventing me from doing any new backups.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks & Rgds,

D5xs

they're both bruteforcers (trying random passwords till they get the right one) so the time it'll take depends on the complexity of the password.
i've used the latter and that works, not tried the former yet.
you could encrypt a new backup with an easy to guess and very short password and see how they each perform before you consider purchasing

Hey guys, i had the exact same problem. I didn't even remembered setting a password and tried evererything i could "remember". But then, as last hope, i tried my UNLOCKING CODE (the one that you put to unlock and use your device) with 4 numbers and... IT WORKED!!! I don't know if i set that before but you might try it. Hope it works for you!
