that's because that backup is a phase I backup. its the phase II that generates the !files to flash folder. try flashing only the system.ext4.img (Android) from this backup to your phone then lets know how it goes

alright. do a ROM dump of your bricked M7 using this guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-526.html . see the video tutorial if you get confused at any point

you're to backup the entire ROM not just one file so use the second part. the length
value for your M7 to be supplied is 0x97D60000
