SP FLASH TOOL

QUESTION PLS
under flash tool there are three option i know the two but the remaining one is compusing me the one is firmware upgrade
1. will these option format my device if not how it is working ?
2. is there any diffrence bw down load and firmware upgrade?
3. can i flash zip files throug sp flash tool

1&2 firmware upgrade is an instruction to format and then flash to all partitions. thats why all items must be present and ticked. Download is an instruction to flash to only selected partitions

that means if I do firmware upgrade I will loose imei ( nvram files) ?

Maybe IMEI but not baseband or nvram

pleasewhich apk file will i use to back up my imei so that even after i format the phone it will be restored permanently apart from mtk droid tool

after reset, you can restore the imei back using the backup you made through mobile uncle.

after restoring using mobile uncle it will be loosed again after every factory reset
