Please I need help in unbricking my Tecno A7. It got bricked while trying to flash latest Stock ROM( the one that corrected OTA update/insufficient storage issue).

I guess the problem resulted from selecting All (including cache & Usrdata) while flashing the ROM backup. It gave an error msg and i clicked ok. Then the phone refused to boot up.

The USBView/device manager can see VCOM connected but SP Flash tool is not seeing it.

Also, the phone cannot boot to either recovery/factory mode and does not show charging sign when connected to charger.

Adb/fastboot is not equally listing it.

Please, what can I do.

Thanks

Yes, I think I did.

After watching some youtube video on opening iPhones abd Galaxy phones, I managed to remove the back cover and disconnected the battery and board terminals. After few minutes i put them back and charged up the phone....after 3+hours of charge, t noticed the home button lighted up and the phone started to charge.

Later I tried powering it up and it came up to its old self. I will allow it to fully charge and flash it again.

Thanks for your help.

We would appreciate it if you could take pictures of the steps in taking out the battery so we can create a tutorial to help others in the same shoes

I flashed the stock rom And on power up,the phone enter boot loop. afterward,i factory reset the phone and it booted up. unfortunately a lot of compounding problem set in.

IMEIs became invalid
Baseband is gone
and
WIfi shows NVRAM Warning: Err =0x10

pls what can i do because none of my sim can be detected?
can I get a NVRAM BACKUP of Tecno A7?

Thanks for the support....All fixed

I used mobileuncle/engineering mode to change IMEI to original one and replaced nvram Wifi files with a duo i got on the net using rootexplorer. The phone is working fine now.
